Virginia B. Johnson Wednesday!
Bonnie's Jams! I am inspired by Bonnie on so many levels it is ridiculous. She makes the jams in the Formaggio Kitchen on Sunday when things are nice and quiet there. She uses local ingredients. She contributes to CISA (Community Involved in Sustaining Agriculture). She makes "wicked" awesome jam. So this is my Wednesday plug for her, her apricot jam (perfect in a baked brie), and her blackberry lemon jam (my favorite jam in the whole freakin' world).
I am also plugging Formaggio Kitchen where you can buy this jar of heaven. Because Formaggio Kitchen rules and I think fondly of Heather and her future cheese shop every time I even say the name of the shop. I hope her future shop is much like Formaggio Kitchen with their cheese cave (!!!!!) and their wide selection of imported and domestic cheese. And while it is a decadent adventure for us, I highly recommend it. They have a shop in NYC! And you can order from them online, too. But first, get some of this jam! If you aren't in New England you can buy it online at Gourmet Nourishment. The only excuse not to try Bonnie's is because you make your own. Which I haven't even tried yet BUT it's on the list...
